Great portable headphones

When the headphones arrived they were a lot smaller than I expected, about half the size of my A700X. Prior to burn-in they sounded pretty muddy and rough and sound-stage was pretty muddy too. However after about 30-50 hours of non-stop pink noise, the sound started to become more crisp and clarity improved severely. Treble is pretty good for a headphone this size, mid-range is superb (I can hear violins, trumpets and vocals very clearly) and bass is subtle but definitely present.

These headphones were fairly uncomfortable when I first put them on, they were stiff and firm but after hours of use, they have softened up and I can use them for long hours of hearing now.

Overall I would recommend these headphones if you are a fan of Audio Technica and if you’re looking for a portable headphone in this price range. I rated this 5 stars because frankly, I love this headphone.
