Fantastic S.O.S.!!

This long-awaited SOS album is only released in Japan. I purchased in a specialty CD store in NY. I have been a huge SOS fan. I loved the previous "Somewhere Deep In The Night." This new CD is also a highly-integrated album, with the standard SOS formula--quality songs and instrumental interludes. Compared with "Somewhere" which was darker, this new CD is "livelier." The pure 60’s pop sound is prominently featured. The SOS sound is always bittersweet; even love songs sound melancholy.
I love this album. The arrangement is great, and the ambiance (fun-iki) is fantastic. There is Bacharach sound and some bossa nova sound mixed in
Highly recommended to all Japanese fans.
