For this price, the costume is perfect. Cloak, necktie, glasses, and wand -- what more do you need? The cloak even has a little pocket on the inside for the want! I’m a teacher, so having a simple costume like this (which is easy to throw on or take off when need-be) is amazing. I also wore it to the Harry Potter Land in Universal Studios Japan. That was a lot of fun. :D The costume can live up to a lot of wear and tear (see: Halloween games and parties with elementary school students; wandering around the chaos of Shibuya, Tokyo on Halloween Night; a full day in Universal Studios Japan running around and riding on rides; various Halloween parties; Summer School with more elementary school students; etc.). The little wand pocket ripped a little after a particularly vigorous tug-o-war event, but I was easily able to staple (lol, yes staple) it back together --- so anyone with even basic sewing abilities would be fine.

I bought this costume for my boyfriend for Halloween. I didn’t expect much for around 2000 yen, but when it arrived, I thought it was really nice for the price. The robe is lined with red fabric and has a wand pocket, haha. Besides the robe, the set comes with a sturdy wand, a pretty nice tie, and glasses that have real glass lenses. My boyfriend looked like harry potter! I’m thinking about getting another set so we can dress like Gryffindors at USJ!
