The Intercultural Mind is a great book aimed at educators, researchers and students who are connected to the new wave of "global education". . This book brings a new (and much needed) approach in how to understand "the intercultural" by bringing the fields of neuroscience and cultural psychology to fundamentally explain how culture influences the unconscious mind. The book blends complex theories and ideas with personal stories by Joseph, his students and acquaintances to allow the reader to easily understand. Also, the writing style and summary key concepts at the end of each chapter also brings a welcome interactive element to the book. To my knowledge there is no other other book like this currently available.

As an educator and researcher within the Japanese university system that has a need and interest to develop the intercultural mind of students, this book has really improved my understanding and evolved my pedagogical approach. I would definitely
