Raisin in the Sun の感想

This is an amazing piece of writing. I’ve read this piece more than once and it gets better every time. I’ve read numerous books and plays but nothing stuck to my head more than A Raisin in the Sun. What makes most novels fascinating is that the scenery of the story changes as the story moves forward but that shift in scenery does not occur in this play (except for one part). What that means is that the author (playwright) wanted the readers to concentrate on the emotional content of the characters and absorb the deepest and the most inner aspect of the human emotion and growth. The entire story takes place in a single room (for the most part) and so the background never changes. The many changes that take place though is kept strictly in the hearts of the characters. This play was very inspiring and is sure to become the backbone of my life.
