Mark Wilson’s Complete Course in Magic is excellent for beginner magicians. It explains all the basics and comes with great pictures to help you learn.
Mark Wilson is a great magicianthe first pages recounting his history are already a great starter. For exampleI did not know that he was the advisor of the TV series THE MAGICIAN . . .
But back to the book. Mark Wilson starts with some basic self-working card tricks, moving over to tricks that require sleight of hand. What is really great about the magic tricks in this book is that they are easy to master. You will learn the basics of magic and more advanced moves like flourishes.
The other half of the book is about coins, rope, silk and hankerchief and some other magic props. It provides a good overview of what can be done in the world of magic. I am sure, you will find something that suits you well, and gives you the inspiration to perform and deepen the magic art.
