An excellent book recounting the short but brilliant history of Singapore. LKY writes clearly and succinctly about Singapore’s development into a dominant force in Southeast Asia. I learned so much about international politics and about what it takes to make a stable country. The book recounts Singapore’s relationship with the U.S., Japan, Indonesia, Malaysia, China, and other countries. LKY is truly one of a kind, without him, the world would be a poorer place.
