デイヴ・グロールが企画したドキュメンタリー映画のサウンドトラック。

Sound Cityは2011年に閉鎖され, デイヴはそこのミキシング機材の購入では飽き足らず
自宅のスタジオでその機材を使ってSound Cityに所縁のあるアーティスト達を呼んで新曲を録音した。
それが本作。
デイヴは全楽曲に、Foo FightersのTaylor HawkinsがM3-5に、Pat SmeaがM3-5,9にそれぞれ参加している。
