Great resources for deformed style.

I had purchased all four “Super Deformation Pose Collection” reference books by Yielder, and I’ve gotta say this book provided the most aesthetic characters out of them all. While I can’t really read Japanese, I still find this book fascinating. In particular, I like it for three reasons:

1. Its rarity: Although I can’t really say deformed style is rare, books exclusively talking about this style are indeed uncommon. Most reference or skills books are made for realistic or anime style artists, for they are the mostly widely appreciated and commercially pleasing. In fact, these two styles are so popular that free tutorials and reference materials could be easily found all over the internet. Therefore, people who aim for a different style have relatively fewer resources for learning and perfecting their craft. So I think this book is great for filling that particular niche.

2. Its image-dominant arrangement: I guess this goes without saying. This is, after all, a
