GREAT text for teaching intermediate to advanced ESL students

A very good text that needs more frequent updating due to the fast IT age we live in. This is the 3rd edition from 2006, it really needs updating using the data from the 2010 US census. Until then, I continue to use this edition which is very, very good. It allows students to draw lots of their own conclusions from the excellently presented facts on American life and culture. I highly recommend it as a text to teach or for personal study for Americans and non Americans alike.0
