I thought this might be good because by plugging it into the computer USB it would be one less thing that I would need to have plugged in while staying at a hotel when traveling. The light was ok but after the product arrived I decided there was too much that was breakable to place in a suitcase. The clamp is really right. So tight that I had trouble holding it open until I could clamp it on to something.
