This very well built stay on case is designed for the Nikon EDIII Fieldscope and is a model of its type.
The case protects the objective and the eyepiece with quick release covers, while leaving the tripod foot free, so the scope can be set up instantly.
The focus collar is also covered, again with a quick release velcro tab for quick access.
While the Fieldscope is robustly built, sealed and waterproof, this case adds extra cushioning and a generous carry strap, which improves the utility of the setup.
