It is a concrete and easy-to-understand guide as an introduction to vector tensor analysis. It is a good book to see in rare cases, with a large number of applications and good practice questions.

ベクトル解析はともかく、
テンソルは数学的な説明と、
ちょろっとした使用、適用、応用例が書いてある本ばかり
（少なくとも和書に限っては）
なのですが、
この本は、テンソル代数、解析の数学的な解説がしっかりしている上に、
豊富な利用例があるため、
ともすると、ただの添え字の上げ下げ代数にしか思えないテンソルが
より具体的なものとして目の前に開けてきます。

和書で「テンソル」と書いてあるもので、
よく理解できない、とっつきにくい
と思ってる人は、
手にしてみたらどうでしょうか？
