As with all the Summonride figures, the sculpts and design of the figures are pretty great. They’re generally show accurate, and they look good together. As also with this line, the paint applications are pretty terrible. The only figure of 16 with a painted back was Kabuto, and even that was very basic. The only well-painted part of any figure is going to be the eyes, with any small detail completely absent (such as the red lines on Kiva’s arms, detail on any single driver, or color-in-color like OOOs arms. The included chips are fun and useful in game, though the characters are a little less so. Faiz is one of my favorites to use in game, but Kiva is a bit slow and strangely combo heavy.
On the fully plus side, these figures regularly sell for half their retail price, which is about as much as you’d want to pay for them. I also find the figures make a fantastic base for painting yourself.
