Hamlet: John Gielgud's Classic 1948 Recording (Classic Drama) の感想

John Gielgud was acclaimed as the greatest Hamlet of his generation.. This recording, from a BBC radio production in the 1940’s, , is therefore a valuable capturing of his interpretation. The sound quality is a little disappointing, with a mild surface hiss, and the narrator"s scene setting is somewhat superfluous, but it remains a compelling production. Definitely worth investing in as both a piece of twentieth century theatrical history, and as a satisfying production.
